Nurturing Wellness Through Radical Self-Care
New book coming late winter 2012
It was a lucky day when Phil Warren, a Canadian professor of psychology and music came into my life. Phil and I were members of a professional energy psychology list serve and he was introducing his new baby, Radiant Energies Balance. At the time REB was a self-help energy psychology with the ability to create a relaxation deep enough to balance the autonomic nervous system and get stressed out folks out of the fight or flight response. Phil needed professionals to test drive REB in their office, and I and an hypnotherapist from England and a psychologist from France answered the call. What we ended up with is an brilliant energy psychology that has the ability to multi-task.
Phil’s baby has grown up and is the basis of my new book, Nurturing Wellness Through Radical-Self-Care, a book I had no intention of writing. I’d been working hard on an energy healing book, The Spirit of Healing, and REB is a small part of that book as it was in Pathways to Wholeness, published in 2010. I expected The Spirit of Healing to be published in early 2012, however, there was a spiritual intervention and my inner guides wanted this book published first. I had to gather bits and pieces of work I’d done since 2006 and for about a year, Nurturing Wellness Through Radical Self-Care has been in development, struggling and yearning to be born. The birthing process has begun, labor is escalating and the birth of the book is imminent.
Nurturing Wellness is dedicated to my two beautiful daughters and to all those who seek a balanced, healthier, happier, more relaxed, self-aware life. In order to help seekers live healthier, happier, more relaxed self-aware lives, the book combines Radiant Energies Balance, Mindful Mediation, the use of Affirmations and Journaling with an easy to use, self-directed and comprehensive self-care program that has flexibility built into its structure.
Let me leave you with the Napoleon Hill quote that begins the Nurturing Wellness Affirmations chapter and the little poem that ends the book. By the way, Napoleon Hill, born in 1893, was one of the earliest American personal success writers.
“Desire is the starting point of all achievement, not a hope, not a wish, but a keen pulsating desire that transcends everything” ~ Napoleon Hill

Hi Sheri,
I am excited too. I feel like I am birthing a child … interesting how that works. Thanks for taking the time to leave a note.
