Mindful Pathways, operated by Janet G. Nestor (“we,” “us”), runs mindfulpathways.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
It covers this website only. Counseling provided through BetterHelp or another platform is governed by that platform’s privacy policy, and clinical records from counseling sessions are protected under the confidentiality rules that apply to licensed counselors, not by this policy.
Information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us:
- Contact form: your name, email address, and message.
- Purchases (WooCommerce checkout): your name, email, phone number, billing address, shipping address, and order details. Card payments are entered with and processed by PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
- Event or class registrations: your name and contact details.
Like most websites, the site also records basic technical information, such as IP address and browser type, to keep it secure and working.
Please don’t send health information through the website
The contact form and email are not secure channels for confidential health information. When you reach out, please share only your name, contact details, and a brief reason for contacting us. We’ll talk about anything personal during your free consultation.

- To schedule consultations, sessions, classes, and events
- To keep the records required for taxes and accounting

The site uses SSL encryption, and we take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or email system is completely secure, which is one more reason not to send health information through the site.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. We’ll respond within 30 days, except for records we’re required by law to keep. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights; contact us and we’ll help.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
